Meet Copeland..

Hi!

I’m Copeland Winten (she/her), a clinical dietitian and researcher. I am a compassionate clinician who aligns with weight neutral, trauma-informed, neuroaffirming care. My role is to provide care meeting individuals needs. This can include dietetic-led CBT-AR or aligning dietetic care to other manualised eating disorder treatments including CBT-e, CBT-T, MANTRA or SSCM.

I’ve spent the last four years completing my PhD in Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), where I researched and provided Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID (CBT-AR) for Australian adults. I am a strong advocate for improving clinician’s knowledge and individuals’ access to ARFID specific care. I have presented at conferences across the world and trained clinicians in dietetic care for eating disorders and CBT-AR.

My clinical experience started at headspace and since then I have worked across various settings and in specialised eating disorder services in Queensland.

When not working you’ll find me cooking or baking, trying not to get dizzy doing pirouettes in beginner ballet or rewatching Gilmore Girls.
